Alan Farber Drive to Thrive: Raising Money for Kids Help Phone and Toys for SickKids
As a managing partner of the Farber Financial Group Alan was extremely happy that the 20 Elves from Farber (and Farber Mclay) delivered a 17 foot U-Haul truck that was full of toys to the SickKids hospital.
The proud Elves from Farber and Farber Mclay. Many thanks to Mattel Canada for donating the toys other wise this would not have been possible.
Jenny Yuen at the Kids Help Phone has been a big help as well who helped us to conceive the idea for this year’s round of giving back to the community. A big thank you to the all the staff at Farber who made this all happen in such a small period of time.
Also a big thank you to Jenny, Norm and Elena at Kids Help Phone for rallying together and raising $13,077 this year.
On behalf of Denise Lo of SickKids, many thanks to all the staff of Farber that took time from their busy schedule and arrange all this and also loading and unloading all the toys in a very harsh winter weather. It was a pleasure to take you all for a tour of the SickKids facility and see all the amazing work that people at SickKids do every day. Thanks for sharing and caring for the cause.
Farber And Kids Help Phone
Farber is a long time contributor to the Kids Help Phone. We truly believe that the work Kids Help Phone is doing is a big big help to the kids who go through different forms of stress in their lives and some times they do not have any one available readily for support and advise. And if you see the number of calls Kids Help Phone receives and the help it provides to the distressed kids it is just plain amazing. Keep up the good work.

Alan Farber Announcing the Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is new program that Farber Financial Group has embarked upon. Alan Farber announced this and said that we as a corporate entity are extremely excited to work on this. It is all about giving back to the community.
The procedure that the company has adopted is to carefully select the charitable organizations who we believe share our beliefs our values and the culture we stand for. And in this regard we are pleased to announce that we have selected the Kids Help Phone as the organization which Farber financial Group will support.
Farber believes that every kid be it our own kids or our neighbours or the kids of people who we help no matter where they are every one of them needs to have the care and support as they go through the joys and the frustrations the troubles and the loss or grief and the questions about sexual identity. So many issues and they need the support from all of us and we believe that Kids Help Phone is doing a marvellous job in providing that.
